Starhill Tea Salon – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Though Malaysia was once colonized by tea-guzzling brits and the tea is grown abundantly all around, the designer felt that a place serving authentic teas was nowhere to be found in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
The furniture was assembled at the site and the display column is also modular. In keeping with the high-end shopping mall setting, Design Spirits opted for a voluptuous theme which is also reflected in the furnishings, ceiling patterns, and even the carpets. The lighting creates a simultaneously classic and contemporary look-and-feel.
While everything from the logo, the piled up tea cans which create colour, to the outlet itself draws its inspiration from this timeless beverage, it is within the pages of its menu that true passion lies; exclusive tea blends, exotic leaves, fruit and herbal infusions, both the contemporary and the classic are served at this exciting tea salon.
