The S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2011

Now in their 10^th year, the much-anticipated S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants have been announced in a ceremony at the historic Guildhall in London this week.

Noma has retained the title of S.Pellegrino Best Restaurant in the World award for the second year running.

A lifetime achievement award was given to Juan Mari Arzak, the first chef in Spain to win three Michelin stars who has inspired several generations of chefs with cutting-edge food that innovates while simultaneously respecting local culinary tradition.

Winner of the highest new entry was awarded to London’s own The Ledbury in Notting Hill who entered the awards in 34^th position.
