The Full List of AA Rosette UK Restaurants for 2020

The latest AA Rosette awards were announced on Monday 23rd September 2019, updating the ratings awarded to fine dining restaurants. The AA Rosette system is one of the trusted standards used by the Luxury Restaurant Guide to list all three, four and five Rosette destinations, with each restaurant listed showing its award category. In total, there 284 restaurants ranked with three Rosettes and above. New for the AA Restaurant Guide 2020 was one new five Rosette restaurant – awarded to Lympstone Manor, ten new four Rosette restaurants and 29 new three Rosette restaurants, displayed below.

About: The AA has been awarding rosettes to restaurants since 1956 (but classifying hotel accommodation with ‘star’ ratings since 1912), with the top award of five rosettes being introduced in 1991. The multi rosettes from three to five are awarded bi-annually in January and September, with success being determined by one or more visits by an AA inspector to an hotel or restaurant. Rosettes rate from one to five, the latter being the pinnacle of quality and afforded to just thirteen restaurants (versus Michelin’s one to three star rating which roughly equates to 3,4 an 5 Rosette standard). One and two rosettes are announced as they happen.
