Who Needs London Anyway? RESTAURANT REVIEW - SINDHU AT COMPLEAT ANGLER MARLOW
Marlow’s Gastronomic Indian Grand Opening – Sindhu at Macdonald Compleat Angler
Announcing the grand opening of Sindhu by Atul Kochhar, Marlow – 11th November 2014
Bringing a unique new culinary destination to the foodie hotspot Marlow is Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar with Sindhu at the luxurious Macdonald Compleat Angler Hotel. Doors open for the very first time from Tuesday 11th November at this brilliantly designed new restaurant with breathtaking views across the Thames.
The world renowned chef, the first ever to win a Michelin star for Indian cuisine, is universally acknowledged as having transformed the way we perceive and experience Indian food. Together with Head chef Gopal Krishnan he has developed a sophisticated menu of innovative authentic modern Indian cuisine dishes that are totally unique and deliciously distinctive. So you’ll find dishes such as Bathak Falliyan (Gressingham duck breast with three bean stew and coriander cress), Hiran ka Boti (venison saddle with cardamom and mace), Meen Moilee (wild sea bass with coconut moilee sauce).
All this is in the elegantly transformed space of what was previously Aubergine restaurant in this five star hotel. With its backdrop of Marlow Weir it also takes inspiration from the rivers of India, bringing an impeccable fusion of complementary colours with splashes of saffron across plush furniture and vibrant canvases with subtle muted tone
