Fox Linton to design London’s first six star property
Leading interior designers, Fox Linton Associates are to design The Wellesley – a new 36 suite townhouse due to open at 11 – 13 Knightsbridge in November 2012.
Fox Linton, recently responsible for the Dorchester Collection’s new opening Coworth Park in Ascot, The Grove in Watford and One Aldwych, will use the former office blocks 1920’s art deco history as inspiration for the interior.
The completed project will include a 28 seater Italian restaurant with a Crystal Bar where live Jazz will be a regular feature. A Cigar Terrace will also feature the UK’s largest bespoke humidor.
The hotel is owned by Arab Investments’ City and County Hotels and is billed by Khalid Affara, Managing Director, to be “not only elegant and private but the service and restaurant and bar offerings will be second to none.”
