About the AA Rosette Awards
The AA Rosette Awards were established in 1956. The allocation of rosettes is determined by one or more visits by an AA inspector to a hotel or restaurant. Rosettes can be from one to five; five being the highest attainable. Luxury Restaurant Guide lists those in the 3,4 and 5 AA Rosette category.
There are currently 17 restaurants awarded Five Rosettes; 51 restaurants awarded Four Rosettes; and 247 restaurants awarded Three Rosettes.
