2025 Michelin Star Awards: Luxury Restaurant Guide Celebrates New Michelin Stars in Great Britain
The coveted Michelin stars were awarded to the UK’s finest restaurants by The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland during a prestigious ceremony held on 10th February 2025 at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow. At the event, the new Michelin Stars, Bib Gourmands, Green Stars, and Special Awards were announced, with the industry’s brightest talents in attendance.
Event Highlights:
• A total of 1,147 restaurants are mentioned – including 220 Starred ones in the latest guide.
• Moor Hall in Aughton, Lancashire leads the way, becoming the tenth restaurant to receive the highest honour of Three-Stars.
• 3 restaurants earned Two-Stars – Hide and Fox, Kent; The Ritz, London and Humble Chicken, London.
• 22 new restaurants were awarded One-Star.
• 5 new Green Stars were awarded for exceptional commitment to sustainable gastronomy.
• 36 new Bib Gourmands have also been awarded to restaurants offering good food and great prices.
• 8 restaurants lost their stars, 6 of which were due to closure – Kai and City Social in London the exemption.
