The Georgian at Harrods

The Georgian revives the high style of the Roaring Twenties with lavish Grade II-listed features meticulously restored for a theatrical culinary experience of British cuisine.

Situated on the fourth floor of Harrods, the restaurant has been a symbol of luxury since 1911. Following a meticulous refurbishment by David Collins Studio, it continues to epitomise grand British aplomb.

For dinner service The Georgian presents innovative British dishes accompanied by live piano performances. Signature dishes include The Georgian Pie, a slow-cooked shoulder of lamb encased in intricately designed pastry, served with ratatouille, crispy anchovy tempura, and sweetbreads, complemented by a fragrant lamb consommé. Another highlight is the grilled Dover sole with white wine sauce, a classic seafood dish prepared with finesse. For dessert, the apple trifle features layers of Calvados-soaked sponge, vanilla crème diplomate, and apple jelly, offering a delightful conclusion to the meal. These dishes are prepared and served tableside from Art Deco-inspired trolleys beneath magnificent crystal chandeliers, enhancing the theatrical dining experience.

During the day, The Georgian offers a glamourous afternoon tea featuring warm scones, delicate savouries, and picture-perfect cakes. Confit duck sandwiches with marmalade and pistachio religieuse with mousseline, praline, and crunch are among the delectable treats. An elegant soundtrack of live piano fills the air as tea sommeliers prepare exclusive blends. Special afternoon tea menus are available for children and those with dietary needs, alongside signature cocktails and fine wines.
