Ynyshir

Set in 14 acres of diverse habitat and epic meadows, Ynyshir Restaurant & Rooms is home to some of the world's most desirable dishes.

Built in the 15th Century and formally owned by Queen Victoria, this striking property has changed exponentially since owners Gareth Ward & Amelia Erikkson injected their ideas & individuality into the business.

Located between the Welsh coast & Snowdonia National Park, Ynyshir's natural surroundings provoke ideas in both the menu and the interior design.

Since 2013 Gareth has built strong partnerships with local producers & craftsmen, as Ynyshir is a bespoke experience both Gareth & Amelia are passionate about creating one-off pieces with likeminded people.

Ynyshir is a 31 dish fine dining experience like no other. Mainly influenced by his surroundings, incredible produce and Japanese techniques, Gareth chooses to work primarily with meat and fish, making these staple elements for his dishes. Ynyshir also has its very own resident DJ who performs a live set every evening. His mixes consist of HipHop, House, Jazz, Funk and everything in between!

The mission is for guests to feel as though they have escaped the everyday, it's all about eating incredible food, tasting new things, next level wines, funky music and surrounding yourself in some of the most spectacular views Wales has to offer.
