Overview

With a flash of colour and a sweep of modernism, Lima brings Peru to London with inimitable style. From the fabulous pisco sours, which are saltily fresh and zingy, the menu leads you on a swooping ride of new flavours and exotic trimmings. The densely tasty offerings are an astonishing journey through Peru, in fact. 

The food is incredibly beautifully arranged, with a strong whiff of Latin hot bloodedness. Lima's gastronomical success led to it receiving the first ever Michelin star for a Peruvian restaurant back in 2013.

Diego Recarte is the current head chef at Lima in Fitzrovia, having been appointed recently in October 2025. He is overseeing a refreshed menu that aims to highlight Peruvian flavors and ingredients.

Recarte is an experienced chef who has worked at internationally recognized restaurants like Astrid y Gastón in Lima and D.O.M. in São Paulo.
